Which plating suits electrical contacts?
Gold over nickel for low-resistance, corrosion-free contact surfaces; silver where the highest conductivity is needed but tarnish can be managed; tin for solderable terminations.
What does hard chrome do?
It gives a very hard, low-friction surface that resists abrasion and rebuilds worn shafts. It is applied thicker than decorative chrome and then ground to final size.
Do you mask areas?
Yes, we mask threads, bores and mating faces so plating does not change critical dimensions, and we document the masked zones on the process sheet.
