Questions fréquentes
Can SLS parts replace machined or moulded parts?
For brackets, ducts, housings and fixtures, SLS PA12 often replaces machined aluminium at a fraction of the cost. Where precision interfaces are needed we ream or tap the printed part, a hybrid approach that gets the best of both.
How is pricing calculated?
By the bounding-box volume of the part plus machine time, so nesting many small parts in one build reduces unit cost significantly. Send the whole assembly and we will optimise the packing.
Are the parts watertight?
Standard PA12 is porous to air and water vapour. Vapour smoothing or an impregnation step seals the surface when a pressure-tight part is needed.
