Metal Stamping
Stamping cuts and forms sheet in a press, which is the fastest and cheapest way to make flat parts once a tool exists. Progressive dies combine several operations in one pass, so a formed and pierced contact comes off the press complete at a few parts per second.

At what volume does stamping beat laser cutting?
Roughly above 5,000 parts for a simple profile, because the tool cost amortises quickly. Below that laser cutting avoids tooling and gets you parts in days instead of weeks.
Do I own the stamping die?
Yes. The tool is built for your part and remains your property. We maintain it in our press shop and can transfer it if you move production.
Can you stamp and then plate?
Yes. We run the stamping in-house and manage plating as a controlled process with thickness and adhesion testing, which matters for contact resistance.
