Which aluminium grade should I specify?
6061-T6 covers the large majority of parts with a good balance of strength, corrosion resistance and price. Move to 7075 when you need higher strength, and to 2024 for aerospace fatigue performance.
Is PEEK worth the cost?
PEEK is expensive but performs where nothing else does: high temperature, chemical exposure and sterilisation. If those are not in the requirement, POM or PPS usually delivers at a fraction of the price.
Can you machine from my material?
Yes. Send the grade and the stock form, or ship material to us and we will machine and return the remainder with the parts.
