MJF PA12 is the default for functional nylon parts because properties are consistent across the build. Choose glass-filled PA12 when you need extra stiffness, and TPU when you need flex.
Yes. We sand, prime and paint printed parts, and for cosmetic models we often use SLA resin as the substrate because the surface is smoother than nylon.
PA12 has good UV resistance compared to most plastics but does degrade over years of direct sun. For long-term outdoor parts we recommend protective paint or a UV-stable material.
Metals and engineering plastics for CNC machining: aluminium, stainless, steel, titanium, brass, copper and high-performance polymers with grade guidance.
Resins for injection moulding: ABS, PP, PC, PA, POM, PBT, PEEK and glass-filled grades with shrink, temperature and application guidance.
Sheet materials for fabrication: cold rolled and galvanised steel, stainless 304/316, aluminium 5052/6061 and copper, with thickness and finish guidance.
FRP and GRP material options: glass and carbon fibre reinforcements, polyester, vinyl ester and epoxy resins, foam and honeycomb core materials.
Aluminium 6061-T6 for CNC machining and fabrication: good strength, excellent corrosion resistance and weldability, the default alloy for most parts.
