Which resin suits marine use best?
Vinyl ester resists water absorption and osmosis better than polyester, and epoxy adds strength and adhesion. For parts below the waterline we default to vinyl ester or epoxy.
Can you build from an existing boat part?
Yes. We take a mould from the existing panel or hull section, including the gel coat colour and any moulded non-slip pattern.
Do you help with class requirements?
We produce laminate schedules to the thickness and reinforcement your classification society or surveyor requires, and supply laminate test coupons where necessary.
