Yes. We machine prototype heat sinks in different fin geometries so the thermal team can compare real measured performance before committing to extrusion tooling or a casting.
We add conductive gaskets, screened seams and filtered feedthroughs, and where needed revise the enclosure with finger stock or a conductive coating. Fast rebuilds are normal in this phase.
